this is a fabulous new technique that allows you to create a silk fabric without having to spin or weave the fibres first. the fibres are simply held together instead by an adhesive medium. the resulting silk 'paper' can be easily manipulated in a variety of ways - scrunching, moulding, stitching.... you can create sculptural pieces, jewelery, book coverings, collage, free machine embroidery, hats, purses, etc. it's diverse applications are limited only by your imagination |
