Exciting news for our overseas customers! As of 4 May, 2013 our overseas postage rates will DECREASE approximately 35%! For domestic clients, no such luck. New rates are effective as of 8 Arpil 2013.

When was the last time you felted with Silk Hankies? Our latest shipment has been double degummed leaving the hankies softer, more lustrous with a greater clarity of colour. We will be continuing to update to our colour palette in the coming months. New colours on offer are Shanti, Infusion, Indian Ink,Tribal, Ironbark and Tranquil. Click here to view... Click here to view... (April 2013).  Hint: When seperating the Silk Hankie an iron does wonders to flatten and organize them back into a tidy square. Also a bit of talc powder on your hands will help prevent snagging on rough spots.

Great new idea for a tool to help fully felt your felt - try using a plastic painter's tray. Generally I recommend a glass washboard but these trays are more readily available from your hardware store, inexpensive and very portable. Simply GLIDE your wet and soapy felt over the ridges to finishing fulling your felt. Make sure your felt has plenty of soap and water so it glides, don't scrub!
